DURAflex is used to create a waterproof barrier on balconies, terraces, roofs, tanks, reservoirs, bathrooms and concrete surfaces — both for new construction and renovation — protecting against water ingress, leaks and dampness.
You mix the two-part slurry (liquid + powder), then apply with brush, trowel or spray in two coats — first coat around 1 mm wet film, then second coat perpendicular for complete sealing. Proper substrate prep and curing are essential.
Yes — when applied correctly with reinforcement in corners and joints, DURAflex provides a reliable water-tight membrane suitable for shower floors, wet rooms or wet-area waterproofing under tiles.
Yes — once fully cured, DURAflex is approved for use in potable water systems, making it safe for water tanks, cisterns or containers that store water.
Suitable for concrete, screed, masonry or plaster surfaces — both horizontal (floors, slabs) and vertical (walls) — provided surface is clean, sound and free of debris or contaminants.
Yes — when cured fully, DURAflex resists positive water pressure up to 10 bar and negative pressure up to 4 bar, making it suitable for waterproofing tanks, basements or wet-area foundations.
Final dry membrane thickness should be around 1.5 - 2 mm, achieved by applying in at least two coats. This ensures reliable waterproofing and durability.
Surface becomes hard to touch after about 16 hours; full waterproof properties develop over ~7 days cure — after which tiling, finishing or water filling can commence safely.
Yes — it is versatile and can be brush-, trowel- or spray-applied, works on old or new concrete, and is especially useful for refurbishment of balconies, terraces or damaged concrete surfaces needing waterproofing.
Ensure substrate is clean, sound, and not wet or saturated. Surface must be free from grease, dust, loose particles or laitance. Apply within recommended temperature range (5 °C–40 °C) and protect from rain or heavy wind during cure.
