Dispersion-based Gypsum & Cement Plaster Primer for Concrete and Non-Absorbent Surfaces in Mauritius
Bostik Grip A400 is a high-performance primer with mineral fillers, designed to balance substrate absorbency and improve adhesion of plaster or render coats. It reduces the risk of cracking during curing and freezing conditions, making it suitable for both new and renovation projects.
Easy to apply by brush, roller or spray, this primer is ideal for exposed concrete, absorbent surfaces, and non-absorbent substrates.

GRIP A400 is a primer used to balance substrate absorbency and improve adhesion of gypsum and cement plasters on exposed concrete and non-absorbent surfaces.
Remove dust, loose particles, oil and laitance. Repair major defects and ensure the substrate is dry and sound before priming.
For brush/roller use apply neat or slightly thinned; for spray application you may dilute up to 5–10% with clean water if necessary.
Touch dry is typically 30–60 minutes; allow 2–4 hours before applying plaster/render (depending on temperature & humidity).
Approx. 72–96 m² (based on 6–8 m²/kg). Actual coverage varies with surface porosity and application method.
Yes — when applied correctly and protected from rain until fully dry. Avoid application in freezing or rainy conditions.
Yes — it is a primer to improve adhesion; use a suitable decorative topcoat after plaster/render and curing.
Apply between 5°C and 35°C. Do not apply on frozen substrates or if rain/frost is expected.
Store sealed in a cool, dry place between 5–30°C, protected from frost and direct sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months unopened.
Use in well-ventilated areas, avoid inhaling spray mist, wear gloves and eye protection, and wash skin after contact. Follow local disposal regulations.
